The recently remade plant in Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia, has been in operation since January 2021. The original production plant is in operation since 2011. Steel construction components such as ropeway support towers and welding technology components are manufactured in Stará Ľubovňa. With the new location, LEITECH (subsidiary of LEITNER) can be closer to its customers in that area.

LEITNER: Customization is part of our standards

LEITNERs’ product range includes detachable and fixed-grip gondola and chairlifts as well as aerial tramways, funicular ropeways, material ropeways, inclined elevators, and surface lifts. LEITNER provides technological excellence worldwide in all kinds of areas of application, ranging from winter sports through to urban passenger transport. With its products, the company proves its advantages as a "premium supplier" on the one hand, and on the other hand, it understands how to respond to the most diverse customer requirements individually. One of the strengths of LEITNER is the production of tailor-made products on the principle that "customization is part of our standards".

LEITNER Premium Chair EVO

One of LEITNERs’ main aims is to further develop existing strengths. A current example is the LEITNER Premium Chair EVO, setting the new standard by combining ride comfort, safety and technology.

The first visible signs of the Premium Chair EVO are the elegant shape and design featuring high-quality materials. As an example, the discerning design of the new chair has been refined with a leather finish, therefore ensuring a premium ride experience. Thanks to newly designed openings behind the backrest cushions, maintenance is even faster, less complicated and more practical than ever before.

The bubble fixing and hand grips are also new. The unique arch provides even greater headroom while also offering the least restricted panoramic views possible. The exit opening has also been re-designed to ensure even particularly tall people can get on and off safely and

comfortably. Even the effort required for opening and closing the bubble has been significantly reduced.

The nonslip rubber coating on the footrests improves grip while protecting the ski edges perfectly, preserving the edges and ensuring additional hold. The measures are further complemented by an improved ride experience from the chair suspension technology. It prevents high- and low-frequency vibrations being felt by passengers, thus ensuring a pleasantly quiet ride experience. When it comes to design, the EVO more than meets the high demands of modern ropeways.

PRINOTH: for perfect pistes

“For perfect pistes” is PRINOTH’s slogan and it illustrates what millions of enthusiastic winter sportsmen and women can enjoy: the finest pistes for perfect skiing pleasure. The paramount consideration is the efficiency of the vehicles and careful handling of snow.

With its claim to forward-looking and responsible business, PRINOTH aimed right from the beginning to develop innovative and above all environmentally friendly technologies, which would reduce pollutants and emissions in its equipment. In addition to sophisticated software programs for snow depth measurement and fleet management, PRINOTH also offers the most innovative technology on the market in terms of hardware. For example, the company presented the world's first hydrogen-powered snow groomer, the LEITWOLF h2MOTION.

Innovation, Quality and Design

This is the result of the highest skills in development, which has been sought since the company was established, and has been constantly elaborated. It was thanks to the founder, racing driver Ernst Prinoth, with his boundless desire for innovation that the first prototype of a snow groomer was built in 1962. Even today, this trailblazing awareness marks the activities of the worldwide business and provides comprehensive further development of consistently high quality and design standards.

Partner of choice for major events

PRINOTH stands out for its comprehensive full-service offering and first-class customer service, making it the partner of choice for winter sports events around the globe. Not only the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 rely on PRINOTH technology, the company has already been responsible for slope preparation at the Olympic Games in Lillehammer (1994), Nagano (1998), Torino (2006) and Sochi (2014). In addition to many other well-known events on the competition calendar, such as the World Ski Championships in Åre, Antholz and Seefeld, PRINOTH recently joined forces with its sister companies LEITNER and DEMACLENKO to act as a strong and reliable partner at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
