What to Consider When Buying Tickets?

Just hours remain until the start of ticket sales for the winter highlight - the Audi FIS Women's Alpine Ski World Cup races in the Low Tatras resort of Jasná. The world's best female skiers will compete in Slovakia on January 20th and 21st, 2024, and soon, enthusiasts can secure their attendance.

"The magical date for the start of ticket sales is October 10th at ten o'clock. Tickets will be available in a limited quantity of 1000 pieces, with prices for the entire weekend set at 35 euros for adults when registering with Gopass and 28 euros for children (aged 6 to 12). Children under 6 years old have free entry. If someone chooses not to register, the prices will be three euros higher," disclosed Jiří Trumpeš, the chairman of the organizing committee of the Audi FIS World Cup 2024. Ticket prices will increase in subsequent phases, with the second phase seeing a ten-euro price hike.

However, it's crucial to be mindful when making your purchase. "Tickets are non-transferable and are issued in the buyer's name. Offline sales may be added later, but for now, the only option is online. The maximum quantity for a single purchase by one person is ten tickets, and it's necessary to provide the names of all the individuals who will be attending," he continued. Tickets will be available on the official event websites www.worldcupjasna.sk and www.jasna.sk.

In addition to ticket sales, the organizers are also launching merchandise sales. "In the e-shop, you'll find hats, sweatshirts, socks, badges, and other souvenirs,"Trumpeš clarified.

Fans can look forward to a rich accompanying program in Jasná in January. "Apart from the races, there will be plenty of entertainment. The center of it all will be at Bielej púti, where you can enjoy concerts, competitions, and public drawings for the starting numbers of the top fifteen racers. It will be an opportunity to meet Petra Vlhová and Mikaela Shiffrin," he noted.

He also reminded everyone that the resort will remain open during the competition weekend, with several slopes available for skiing. "Apart from the Petra Vlhová, Majstrovská, and Biela púť slopes, all other slopes on the northern and southern sides of the resort will be open to skiers. In connection with the races and skiing, we have a special notice for holders of the Šikovná season pass. During the race weekend, we will require them to activate a skiing coupon, which they will find in their Gopass account, so that we can manage the resort's capacity."

All public tickets provide access to standing areas and allow visitors to enjoy the event either from a natural grandstand opposite the finish line at Koliesko or in the zone at Priehyba. Even people without tickets can participate in the atmosphere. "The main fan zone, which will be accessible to the public without tickets, will be located at Bielej Púti, where a rich accompanying program awaits visitors, including public drawings, musical performances, and entertainment. There will be no shortage of good vibes in the race area itself in the finish area at Koliesko and at Priehyba, which will only be accessible with valid tickets,"Trumpeš added.
