The still extremely unfavourable pandemic situation did not allow thousands of fans to come for the weekend Women Alpine Skiing World Cup in Jasná. The organizers have prepared a different format of entertainment for fans before and during the prestigious international event, and in the virtual world, STUDIO JASNÁ enjoys great attention.
A regular show on the internet with various unique guests or unbelievable challenges attracts many spectators. In Studio Jasná on the official WC website, it is also possible to learn a lot of interesting information from behind the scenes of the race. While it was an evening broadcast from Monday to Friday, during the competition weekend, all fans have a chance to get interesting live content throughout the day.
The numbers speak for themselves. During the previous working days, each broadcast from Studio Jasná had up to five-digit views and almost ten thousand unique viewers. As the race organizers also prepared various competitions for fans, they recorded over 4,200 entries in the comments. And before Saturday's first round of slalom, the studio had more than 4,000 views.
“We are very nicely surprised by the interest of fans who have found their way to our online platform. The numbers were two to three times higher than our expectations. Although we would like great Slovak supporters directly in Jasná, we appreciate their interest and support from distance,” said Head of PR and Media of the World Cup Michaela Grendelová.
